A: What are you doing tonight?

B: I don't have anything special planned. Why?

A: Well, tonight I'm having a few of my friends over, and I thought you might like to join us.

B: I'd like to, but I'm a little tired, and I have an early meeting tomorrow.

A: Oh, come on. You'll enjoy meeting my friends.

B: Well, . . .

A: You know, 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.'

B: You're right. I need to get out more.

A: That's the spirit.

B: What time should I come?

A: How about 7:30?

B: Okay. I'll see you tonight. Thanks for asking me.

A: You're welcome. Thanks for joining us. I promise you'll have a good time.
